Lightworker Path of: Linda Grace Kingsbury, PhD

         At my formal university education, I graduated with a B.A. in Human Studies, a M.S. and PhD in Holistic Nutrition. For my own holistic self-care, I began attending yoga classes while at college in southern California. My experience with group chanting and meditation continued with Movement of Spiritual Inner Awareness and Astara Mystery School while living near Los Angelos in the early 1980's. Over time the effectiveness of yoga, mantra, and meditation led me to complete teacher certificate trainings in Yogafit and Kundalini Yoga. I love the potency of kundalini yoga’s blend of mantra, meditation, conscious breathing and yoga movement. To enhance my Kundalini classes, in 2018, I completed a yearlong Gong training by Kundalini teacher Sotantar Suraj at Gong Avatar Institute in Newport Beach, California. My Bioacoustic Sound Healing training came from completing a Professional Sound Healer program in Seattle with internationally known sound healer, author and teacher Tom Kenyon.

     My first shamanic journey was with Brant Segunda of Dance of the Deer Foundation when I lived in Beaverton Oregon. My Gramp who taught me telepathy was the first Guide who appeared up in a tall pine tree. Shortly after, I made my first hoop drum and attended woman's drumming circles in Portland. My telepathic connections with the natural world led to Medicine for the Earth training with Sandra Ingerman and Shamanic Journeying training with Hank Wesselman. As I traveled up and down the Columbia Gorge and throughout the western states, the land and elders spoke to me. I would be drawn to wilderness locations to drum and sing for the land and to release spirits ready to move on. Now drumming journeys are often held for clients in the woods including Soul Retrievals, where fragmented parts of the self that were lost during trauma reintegrate into the whole system. I’m pleased that modern psychology is now validating these ancient concepts. 

    I began exploring consciousness, metaphysics, and intuition development as a way to understand my own path as a highly sensitive person.  My telepathic, clairvoyant, clairsentient, clairaudient skills developed over my lifetime. The first remembrance of plant communication was hearing the Hollyhocks singing to me as a young child. It was also at my Gram’s house in Keene NH, where my Gramp, who had a stroke leaving him with little verbal communication, taught me telepathy when I was preschool age. During Rebirther Practitioner Training, I learned that I was clairsentient when I could feel the physical body pains of my clients. My teacher Leonard Orr encouraged me to refine my natural gifts. I had formal training at Portland Healing and Education Foundation aka Church of Inner Light and graduated from their Clairvoyant Practitioner and Ministry program around the time of my first Saturn return at 29 years old.

     Since I was an Herbalist first, when I started doing aura and chakra readings, herbs spoke to me about how they could help my clients. Spirit Herbs products were born from the consistency of these experiences. I formulated tinctures, flower essences from the plants that I grew then added gem elixirs to create unique vibrational formulations. I also created a line of organic Chakra Teas. Now recipes and messages from the plant kingsdom are available in my book Spirit Herbs. The Herbal Tarot spoke to me on multiple levels, and I began incorporating them in my individual sessions and classes to dive deeper into ways to address subconscious and unconscious patterns contributing to physical or emotional imbalance. I also shared messages from client’s guides and deceased loved ones. 

     I traveled for decades in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, California, and New Mexico teaching about Herbs for the Aura and Chakras at metaphysical bookstores as well as larger fairs such as Los Angeles Whole Life Expo, Teton Wellness Festival, and Angel Expos. As time went on, I also shared my Dolphin Light Adventures as a multimedia experience with sound and movement. 

     I attended the Harmonic Convergence at MT Shasta in 1987. followed by 11:11 and 12:12 gateways with Solara, author of the Starborne series. I learned light language with signature sounds and movements to engage with other Starseeds. I founded Temple of Light in 1997 while teaching in Moscow, Idaho. As I was leading an energy medicine class at my downtown office, a beam of light came into the back of my head. I heard the words Temple of Light. Not only was I in the first wave of training people to honor their body as a temple of light, but that was the business name I was to register for practitioner certifications and ordinations. Advanced Practitioner certification programs available through Temple of Light include, Professional Clairvoyant Practitioner and Psychic Healer Certification, Shaman Practitioner Training, Rebirthing Practitioner Training (Conscious Energy Breathing), and Multicultural Interfaith Ministry. A range of Reiki Trainings from Practitioner Level I to Teacher Certifications include Usui, Karuna Reki Drumming, and Animal Reiki Trainings with Master classes on the Big Island of Hawaii. 

     The land and plants drew me to create several Sacred geometry gardens over the years. My first was a 35 x 35-foot 3 circuit labyrinth medicinal herb garden. The plants grew to outrageous proportions similar to the Findhorn experiences in Scotland. My latest is a 35 x 35-foot hexagon with 13 – 6-foot circles filled with flowers and medicinal herbs. The geometry is called Metatron’s Cube. I potentized it with 6 Herkimer diamonds, 13 Lemurian seed crystals, and a multitude of river garnets that I gathered in Idaho.
